Hgray"l on the situation: "We need rachmei shamayim"

This week, following the general speech Hgray"l Steinman delivered at Yeshivas Gaon Yaakov, Hgray"l expanded a little on current affairs.

"You know that today there are a lot of things in Klal Yisrael which need mercy," he said.

"First of all, up until now it was arranged that yeshiva students were immediately given delay, and anyone can learn, now it has been stopped, the High Court overruled it.

"Now they want to make a new government, and we are in need of rachmei shamayim that yeshiva students can learn.

"So over the years so much Torah has learned, so much was learned and taught and sefarim were published, good sefarim, this took place all over these years, and we are in need of rachmei shamayim.

"Everyone will try to simply ask for mercy from Hashem that they can continue to learn Torah and they will not interfere with the yeshivas, so they can learn well, and add spirituality. And all of Klal Yisrael will grow in Torah and Yiras Shamayim, and we will merit the true redemption speedily in our days Amen, may it be His will."
