Baruch Dayan Haemes: At the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, Mrs Chana Teller a"h, owner of the "Teller Kiosk", located at the entrance to the Tzion of Rashbi in Miron, passed away at the age of 84.
Three weeks ago she was hospitalized at the Hadassah Mount Scopus, but she was released last night. But she became ill again and was hospitalized at Beilinson, and today at noon returned her soul to its Creator.
The deceased was born in Hungary and survived the Holocaust at Auschwitz, where she rescued her aunt a"h, after which she lifted her on her shoulders for a distance of a 10 km hike.
After the Holocaust, she got married to Rabbi Raphael Yitzchak Aaron Teller z"l - and together they moved to Israel, and lived in Binyamina, from there they moved to Kfar Shamai, and thirty-eight years ago they settled in Miron.
She used to make cakes for those coming to daven in Miron, and even in the days that she lived in Kfar Shamai she would walk up to Miron. Those who come to the Rashbi tell of her kind heartedness. All the clients at the kiosk enjoyed buying from her because of the happiness her face radiated.
She is survived by four daughters, sons in law and their children.
The funeral left tonight (Thursday) from her home in Moshav Miron to the cemetery, and she will be laid to rest alongside her husband Rabbi Raphael Yitzchak Aaron Teller z"l.
