Habayit Hayehudi party rejects the proposal from Likud Beitenu to rush to sign a coalition agreement for senior government files.
Suggested cases by Likud: education portfolio, religion portfolio, major economic portfolio of their choice (not finance) and the role of deputy defense minister. The party was asked to respond to the offer within the time limit of 48 hours.
A senior official at Habayit Hayehudi says to B'Chadrei Charedim that the offer is not relevant and is not acceptable. He said that only after the close of the government's guidelines and fundamental issues could they deal with in the distribution of files.
Habayit Hayehudi was hurt by the fact that the proposal was passed first to the media – whilst they received the offer many hours later. The party was also hurt by the ultimatum set by the Likud.
The meaning of Habayit Hayehudi's answer is that the party is not interested at this time to break the alliance with Yesh Atid.
The senior source said that he would recommend Likud not place ultimatums or contact her via the media. "It is bizarre that we received the offer dozens of hours after hearing it in the media."
