The 'Association for the Purity of the Camp' which stands behind the stubborn struggle against Smartphones, increases its war: this time the target is - the band players.
An ad published by the association, warns the public against the orchestra players invited to weddings and events, who possess cell phones which are not approved.
"We are hereby addressing all "anshei shlomeinu", writes management of the association in an advertisement of severe style, "who are G-d fearing, since in weddings, events, etc. are players who possess impure mobile devices of different kinds, and not only do they transgress a severe Issur, they yet stand and take it out during the Seudah or during recess and show each other news from the wide world, Heaven forbid, especially seeing that kids love to hang around with the players and become friends with them, and they see everything, and this is burning of neshamos, G-d forbid, and woody word to the wise. "
There are also serious suggestions for sanctions:
"Accordingly we turn to all dear parents, not to invite with musical players until they themselves signed that they do not bring these impure instruments, and if, G-d forbid, the bring and use them, they will not receive payment for the wedding. "And one who guards his soul keeps his distance from them"."
