Orthodox girl of about 14 was seen fleeing a vehicle near Beitar Illit, towards the Beitar forest • extensive searches turned up with nothing - and the police ordered: return to normal • probably returned back home

Mystery surrounds the fate of the disappeared Orthodox girl in Beitar Illit.
This evening (Tuesday) at 19:10 NCO of the city reached the gas station near Beitar Illit,. Fuel employees told him that not long ago a girl of about 14 left a Mazda 3 car and fled towards the Beitar forest.
A survey conducted by Guy Akrib, director of the city center, on the case was confirmed with the city's security cameras. According to video footage, at 19:02, indeed a girl was seen as she fled to the forest area.
Due to concern about her safety in this dangerous area, large forces were sent forward to locate her.
Front command room was established at the gas station in Beitar forest. Searches were attended by helicopters, rescue units of the police, a special unit of the IDF, ZAKA volunteers and Hatzalah Beitar. Searches were concentrated in the area between Wadi Fokim and Beitar Ilit.
But after fruitless searches and no complaints were received about a missing girl, a new assessment was made that the girl returned to her home on her own.
Police announced to return to normal.
