It has been cleared for publication that in December 2012, the ISA revealed, in conjunction with IDF and Israeli police, a Tanzim terrorist squad of Fatah, residents of the Qalandiya-a Ram refugee camp and, which penetrated on 21 December 2012, to the Rama base, north of Jerusalem, attacked a soldier on guard, and took a M-16 rifle which was in the soldiers possession.

During interrogation by the General Security Service, the squad members admitted that before penetration to the Rama base, they carried out several reconnaissance patrols to gather intelligence on the base, and the guard's replacement procedures. In the assault and robbery were involved, Iyad Hadad, Muhammad Qasim and Anwar Abu Zidiyeh, while Muhammad Mattir, who took part in the preliminary patrols, acted as driver in the incident.

The investigation also revealed that a month before the attack at Rama base, on 20 November 2012, another squad was involved in another incident of stealing weapons from the Hs.g position at Maale Michmash on the outskirts of Benjamin. This event was attended by Iyad Hadad, Muhammad Mattir, Anwar Abu Zidiyeh and Mustafa Hadad - holding Israel ID card.

On 27/01/13 Judea Military Court filed charges against those involved in attacking the soldier and stealing weapons from the Rama base in December12. In addition, charges were filed, by the Judea military court against those involved in the theft of weapons at Maale Michmash in November 12.

In addition, on 17/1/13 an indictment was filed against Mustafa Hadad, one of those involved in the stealing of weapons in the incident at Maale Michmash and holder of an Israeli identity, in Jerusalem District Court attributing him to crimes of theft and deal with weapons.

The squad exposure prevented carrying out more violent activity intentions in the west bank.
