Because of sanctity of Shabbos: thieves managed to escape
In the midst of last Shabbos in Ashdod thieves were seen trying to break into an apartment in the haredi center • One of the thieves was captured, but his friends rescued him and escaped • and how did it end?

A serious incident occurred in the hareidi concentration in Ashdod last Shabbos: On Shabbos afternoon, one of the residents noticed his neighbor's apartment, who went away over the weekend, was broken into by four youngsters.
The alert neighbor did not lose his wits and began shouting loudly for the neighbors' help, neighbors quickly came to his aid, and began to chase the intruders. One of them was caught, but his friends, who understood that their accomplice was captured by the determined neighbors - returned with threats and released him from their hands.
Since this is a Haredi population, and because of the sanctity of the Shabbos, they did not call the police, and their complaint was postponed until the end of Shabbos.
The description of the suspects as given by the neighbor, and an investigation in intelligence activities, led by that evening to the arrest of one of the suspects, a 16 year old minor.
The investigation continued, and on Sunday three other suspects who are also 16 years old were arrested.
The arrest of the three was extended in court by a day. The four suspects are staying in detention, and the investigation is under way.
