Court in London, ordered Internet giant, Google, on Friday to reveal the details of the identity of bloggers denigrating the name of Rabbi Chaim Halpern.
Another development in the Rabbi Chaim Halperin affair in London: Halperin went to court against 'Google' and against anonymous bloggers who are denigrating his name.
Elizabeth Gloucester Court Judge required 'Google' to transfer to Halperin's lawyers the names and details of the blogger who appears under a pseudonym "Ifyoutickleus" and other bloggers.
The attorney of Rabbi Chul Strong said, bloggers have used the platform given to them by 'Google' and therefore the company must now help the rabbi.
The judge wrote in her ruling that although freedom of speech is important, but so is a person's good name, and people who use freedom of speech to defame other people and destroy their reputations, cannot continue to hide behind anonymity.
