Hatzala organizations struggle: 'Ichud' is not a partner? Drill canceled

The struggle between Hatzala organizations continues: a drill designed in the city of Tel Zion was canceled. The reason: 'Ichud Hatzala' didn't take part. According to a report of Ma'ariv.

Last week a wide exercise was planned in the Binyamin Regional Council, as part of an end of the courses held by the Department of Defense in the Council.

The intended location for the drill was the hareidi Tel Zion settlement, which is considered part of Kochav Yaakov, because it is the only place where there is a large number of buildings. But, as noted, the settlement secretariat objected - and the exercise was canceled.

A factor involved in the planning of the exercise said to Ma'ariv: "There are probably people there who are connected to 'Ichud Hatzala'. They tried in every way to integrate their organization and ensure that the MDA will not be part of the exercise."

On the other hand, the Board of Tel Zion blame MDA: "The MDA is irresponsible for planning an exercise as a showcase without an intention to involve the medical rescue teams and the community emergency officials, who naturally will be required to respond in a real time event."
