Negotiations stuck: Lapid and Lieberman fight

Tomorrow (Monday), after a week of intermission, the negotiations will resume for the establishment of the Netanyahu government, but as it seems now, the assembly work just gets more complicated.

Tomorrow contacts will open between the professional teams of the two major parties, Likud Beitenu and Yesh Atid, and that will open accelerated negotiations between the two.

But this weekend number two on the Likud Beiteinu list, Avigdor Lieberman, made it clear that the foreign portfolio remain in the hands of his party. Yair Lapid - however – he sent to the Ministry of Finance.

But even on the Justice Department Netanyahu and Lieberman will not want to give up on. In addition, Yesh Atid will ask to choose between the Interior Ministry portfolio and Portfolio of Construction and Housing – and Lapid will not object to both.

In addition Likud teams will try to offer Lapid the Netanyahu layout on the subject of recruitment, and examine how the parties will be willing to be flexible about how to do the impossible: to insert Lapid into the government, together with the Orthodox parties.
