One activist at the Ayelet Hashachar organization, turned to Hgr"ch Kanievsky last week with an interesting question.

The organization deal with kiruv in towns and kibbutzim throughout the country, and the man is active in the organization of settlements in the north.

Several residents who came closer to Judaism sought to fulfill the mitzvah of reading the Megillah. But during the festival of Purim, those engaged in family affairs and therefore preferred to hear the reading of the Megilla before Purim, i.e. on Friday.

The activist wanted to know, can we act with them according to chazal concerning villagers who proceed (the day they would come into the city from the village), or whether this was a policy only to crypto villagers, not to those who are 'forced' because they want to participate in family affairs.

Hgr"ch replied that it is difficult to act unlawfully in this case, and therefore it is better to completely give up reading of the Megillah.
