Hundreds of Nadvorna chassidim gathered on Thursday night, a week before the yarzheit of the Rebbe the Beer Yaakov, zt"l, for a special dinner for institutions under the slogan 'Zecher Tzaddik Levracha'.
The dinner was held at the Concord halls in Bnei Brak, led by the Nadvorna Rebbe – who carried the main burden at the event, and his brothers the Nadvorna Rebbes of Jerusalem, Elad and Betar Illit.
Among the speakers at the dinner were Rabbi Sender Erlanger, and Rabbi Menachem Klein - Rabbi of Frankfurt. A presentation was also broadcast for participants on the life of the Rebbe zt"l.
The chassidus is preparing for the first yahrzeit which will fall on 7th Adar, this coming Motzei Shabbos, and has already been announced as a 'Shabbos gathering', and a series of events will be noted in memory of the Rebbe of blessed memory.
On Motzei Shabbos the seudas hillula will be held at the Central Hall of the Beit Midrash, and yeshiva students who studied for the soul of the Rebbe this past year will complete their masechtes.
On Sunday, at 13:00 the central pilgrimage will take place to the Rebbe's grave on Mount of Olives in the Rebbes of Nadvorna plot.
