Litzman: "support Gafni for further service inFinance Committee"

In a thanksgiving party which took place on Motzaei Shabbos on the occasion of the recovery of Rabbi Mordechai Hertz, the close shamesh of Hgrm"i Lefkovitz zt"l, who recovered from an illness which had a while ago, health officials, including Deputy Health Minister MK Yaakov Litzman, participated.
Litzman quoted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who said following the activities of the hareidi deputy minister at the Ministry - the Ministry of Health has become 'desired'. However Litzman clarified that he does not intend to become a minister in the new government to be established.
However, according to his associates, he wants to continue in his position at the Ministry of Health.
Litzman himself also made it clear at the party that he does not desire the position of Chairman of the Finance Committee. "For this job," he said, "I support the continuation in office of MK Moshe Gafni."
