Foreign portfolio struggle heats up: reports that Yair Lapid, chairman of Yesh Atid, wants the foreign portfolio, has not passed in silence by the former foreign minister and chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, Avigdor Lieberman.

"Foreign portfolio will remain with Yisrael Beiteinu, but whoever wants to contribute to the State of Israel, and whoever asks every election where the money is, will probably just follow the money, the money is in the Ministry of Finance and is not found in the Foreign Ministry." Lieberman responded to the program 'Meet the Press'.

Lieberman went on to explain: "Even before the elections it was closed, we announced that before the election and after. The options are clear, and I will certainly support Lapid if he will focus on solving internal problems. I will say it clearly: the Foreign Ministry will remain with Netanyahu until the decision in court."

Concerning the possible combination of Tzipi Livni and Hatnua: "Livni is an important player in the political system, I have a good relationship with her and I will be happy if she joins the coalition. I spoke to her this afternoon; I hope she will be part of the coalition."
