Rahmstrivka: didn't sign regulations? Removed from Hassidus!

Over a thousand chassidim attended a conference last night (Wednesday) of the Rahmastrivka chassidus against the technological hazards, in the Beis Malka seminary hall in Jerusalem.

After opening remarks by Harav Avraham Slonim, Harav Hatzadik R' Moshe Teitelbaum, Rav of the Satmar community in Jerusalem, and Hagaon R' Moshe Braverman - the Rebbe of Rahmastrivka spoke.

The Rebbe said: "since the days of the creation of the world there has never been such an attempt to destroy the sanctity of Education and the Jewish Home. We have set up a committee of rabbis, and community members must obey and fulfill bounds and regulations which were fixed.

"There is no heter to use these devices. Even those who need it for their livelihood, should know that it is hardly permissible and even for that they will have to obtain a special permit from the Committee of Rabbis, after consideration of the need and how to use the ways of filtering required."

The Rebbe concluded in tears: "Anyone who is not willing to accept and commit to signing the form of regulations, should know that he disconnects himself from our community and our ancestors who founded the community, and has no connection with the community.

"He should not go into the Beis Midrash and is not yotze in krias HaTorah and blowing the shofar. Our goal is not to remove anyone, G-d forbid, but the need should not be underestimated, and each one should commit to abstain completely from various types of Internet devices."

After the speeches, a mass prayer and acceptance of ol malchus shomayim was held, with the Rebbe serving as chazan.

The conference was broadcasted live to all Hasidic centers in the U.S. and Europe. At the end of the conference the chassidim signed the form of regulations.
