Bulgaria blames: "Hezbollah is responsible for the attack in Bourgas"

Bulgaria's Interior Ministry imposed today (Tuesday) the responsibility for the suicide attack in Bourgas on Hezbollah.

Bulgaria's Interior Minister, Tzootan Tzootanov who spoke at a special press conference of the Bulgarian National Security Council, said that three terrorists took part in the attack, and that they were part of the organization's military wing. The minister did not specify if the authorities know where the terrorists are now.

Tzootanov said that the two surviving suspects held foreign passports – from Australia and Canada. "The suspects received financial support from Hezbollah," he said.

The explosion, which occurred on July 18, 2012 on a bus at the airport in the city, claimed the lives of a local driver and five tourists from Israel: Maor Harosch, Elior Price, Itzik Kulangy, Amir Menashe and Kochava Shriki.

Even according to the U.S. media, it was believed that the authorities in Sofia will impose on Hezbollah claims of responsibility. The White House and the State Department may make statements after the publication of the final report, which will be reflected in a call to include the Hezbollah on the terrorist list of the EU.

In early January this year, the Bulgarian police claimed that they were unable to verify the identity of one of the collaborators who allegedly worked with the terrorist in Bourgas, and according to published reports in the state, went hunting for a man suspected of acting as a collaborator.
