In activities performed tonight (Tuesday) in the village of Abu Snan, Unit detectives of the Northern District, riot Fighters North Coast, Northern District Beach sappers, in conjunction with the military police investigators in the north – raided the three compounds in the village of Abu Snan.
The complex which includes a school and a kindergarten for children with disabilities, many weapons were found in the pond, including four missiles, four RPG bombs, 4 build explosive propellant, 3 fragmentation grenades, two detonators to build devices including hundreds of 7.62 mm pellets. All items were destroyed by North and Hof sappers.
"The target work we defined in the North is fighting the phenomenon of maintenance and use of weapons, and activities taking place in the North and around is to eradicate the phenomenon - emphasizes the struggle carried out every day against criminal elements. We will continue to invest in the means and resources to combat this phenomenon," North commander, Commander Roni Attia said this morning.
"We've put our hands on many of the weapons prior to arrival criminals or for resolving disputes between families, and thus prevented injuries and property damage," said Commander Michael Shafshak, commander of the Northern District.
