Mother of Antwerp •Rebbetzin Chaya Lieberman a"h

Baruch Dayan Haemes: In Belgium, Antwerp, Mrs Rebbetzin Chaya Lieberman a"h, wife of Rabbi David Moshe Lieberman, Ab"d 'Shomrei Hadas' in Antwerp and the Chief Rabbi of Belgium, passed away suddenly at the age of 82

The deceased was born to her father Rabbi Yehuda Chitrik zt"l, a leading Chabad chassid, who founnd shelter in the shadow of three Rebbes of Lubavitch - the Rebbe Rashab zt"l, the Rebbe Hryy"z and the Rebbe of blessed memory, and served as an educator at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Montreal, and her mother Mrs. Kaila a"h.

Throughout all the years she stood at her husband's side so he could pursue his studies, and meet many questioners undisturbed.

She was a modest woman who did not speak much, was exemplary in her acts of kindness and dealt in distribution of charity and benevolence.

She left behind a beautiful generation: her son Rabbi Menachem Mendel Lieberman - Chabad emissary in Ashkelon, Rabbi Zvi Lieberman, a Rabbi near London, England. Her son in laws: Rabbi Shmuel Pinson, Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm, Rabbi of Zitomer. Daughter - Mrs. Sarah Hinda, the wife of Rabbi Aryeh Leib Kaplan, of blessed memory, Chabad emmissaries in Tzefas. Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Chitrik, director of Beit Chana Seminary in Tzefas.

The funeral will leave today (Tuesday) from the funeral home in Antwerp and her coffin will arrive in Israel and her funeral will leave tomorrow 9Wednesday) at 14:00 from the Shamgar funeral home in Jerusalem.
