U.S. Senator John McCain called today (Monday) Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a "monkey".
McCain published it on his personal Twitter, where he wrote: "So Ahmadinejad wants to be the first Iranian in space - was he not there last week?"
He also added to the tweet a link to an article reporting on the launch of an Iranian monkey into space last week.
McCain's words came to the media and the last fear of a storm. Only after several worldwide agencies quoted the words he tweeted again and wrote: "Take it easy friends. Cant one make a joke?"
