Nationalist attack attempt: at the intersection of Chaim Bar-Lev – Haneviim near the Jerusalem police national goal a young Arab tried to stab an orthodox man.
The Jew was not hurt, and the Arab escaped.
Passersby's reported that an Arab plunged the knife into the chest of the ultra-Orthodox man, but a book lying in his pocket, blocked the penetration of the knife, and he was saved. There is no confirmation from the police.
Scans were held at the area and the suspect was arrested on Sultan Suleiman Street, and is currently under investigation.
Shmulik Ben Ruby, Jerusalem police spokesman, told B'Chadrei Charedim that the suspect in the stabbing attempt was arrested by detectives of David region after a chase.
Police issued a gag order on the details of the suspect in the stabbing.
