Eight family members were injured by smoke inhalation during Friday night, in the BeisYisrael neighborhood in Jerusalem.

At around 01:30 on Friday night, MDA medics were called toChaimOzer Street, in BeisYisrael neighborhood, following a report of a man who passed out.

KobyGrossbard, a driver at Hatzalah, who was the first at the scene, says: "When I arrived, I found out that it was co-poisoning (smoke inhalation), with two parents and six children, from age 12 to age 8 months, inhaled coal smoke left on in the house.
"Together with other drives and MDA teams, we gave first aid to the victims - who were evacuated later to the ShaareiZedekhospital later, when everyone suffers fainting, severe headaches, nausea and vomiting."

Hatzalah Union wish to remind safety procedures, not to leave burning coal at all, and especially not in a closed structure which can lead to dangerous smoke inhalation.
