Rabbi Eliezer Ozer, Rosh Yeshiva of Lomza in Petach Tikva, and his son Rabbi Moshe Ozer, were injured tonight in a car accident in the U.S. in which the car they were in was involved - and were hospitalized.

The accident happened last night two hours away from New York.

Two and a half weeks ago, Hgr"e Ozer age 75, left for the, United States, to raise funds for the Lomza Yeshiva. He was supposed to return tonight to Israel.

After being admitted, the Rosh Yeshiva who was seriously injured had surgery in hospital. According to their associates, their lives were saved in the accident.

At the Lomza Beis Midrash, located on Herzl Street, tehillim was recited for their recovery.

Lomza Yeshiva, a yeshiva with about a hundred students, is the most ancient a synagogue and yeshiva on Em Hamoshavaot.

The public is requested to pray for the recovery of Rabbi Eliezer Ben Rachel for a refua shleima.
