Hgray"l to avreichim: It is good to learn in poverty

Yesterday (Monday) Hgray"l Steinman attended a Siyum Maseches Chulin and beginning of Avodah Zarah at the Ponovicz Kollel in Bnei Brak, the maseches learned in the shiur taught by Hagaon Rabbi Itamar Garbuz, mone of the Rosh Yeshiva in Orchos Torah and Ponovicz.
Hgray"l came to honor the event and discussed the questions of law along with the yeshiva students.
After discussing the halachic questions the avrechim asked for a blessing. Hgray"l blessed them and reminded them that Torah learning through poverty is an advantage since that way their wages (sechar) is higher even though it is difficult, and ended by saying that "those who learn Torah in poverty are destined to wealth."
