Report: "Israeli approval for explosion in Iran"

First Israeli approval to the explosion of the nuclear facility in Iran: The Times newspaper published in London reports that Israeli intelligence officials confirmed that indeed there was an explosion at Purdue uranium enrichment facility in Iran.

According to sources cited by the newspaper, the Israeli government is investigating the incident and believes that the Iranians did not evacuate the area.

"We're still in the initial stages of understanding what happened and how significant it was" the official said, according to the report in The Times, and refused to comment on the claim that the Israeli aircraft were in the area near the time of the explosion.

The explosion was first reported on U.S. WND website which claimed that it took place the day before the Israeli elections.

According to the site, a former employee at the Ministry of Intelligence and National Security Iran confirmed this, but last night Iranian Deputy Atomic Energy Agency denied reports about the explosion. This was the first official reaction from Iran, Western media reports.
