Sheva Brachos with the Rebbe, which takes place in the morning and lasts for one hour and twenty minutes, is an unusual spectacle.
However, yesterday morning, there was such an event in the Beit Midrash of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak to celebrate the Sheva Brachos of his grandson, son of his son Hgrch"m Kahn, Toldos Avraham Yitzchak community Rabbi in Beitar Illit, who married the daughter of Hgr"d Schwimmer Dom"tz of the Eideh Charedi.
The event was incorporated with the Sheva Brachos of the Satmar Rebbe's granddaughter, daughter of his son, Hgrch"tz Teitelbaum community Rabbi in Jerusalem, and the Rebbe also participated as a guest.
The Satmar Rebbe had a very tight schedule especially in Bnei Brak, and so it was decided that the Sheva Brachos will take place in the morning and be as brief as possible. The Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe who hosted the event, stays every day with his tallit and tefillin until noon and learns.
In order to make it to the Sheva Brachos and not disrupt his daily schedule, the Rebbe rose early at 4:00 am, and started off with davening. At around 11:00, the Rebbe entered the Beit Midrash hall.
The occupancy was full. A tribune of ten floors was built around the walls of the house. Hundreds of courses were served to the public participants jamming the place, along with a hundred and fifty rich Satmar chassidim who were invited specially to take part in the event special attention was devoted to them.
At the event speeches were said by the Rebbes and Hrh"ch Rabbi Moshe Krauss, one of the community leaders. A choir sung in the background and Birkas Hamazon and Sheva Brachos took place. This crowded program, lasted a total of one hour and twenty minutes, but organizers said it was the most spectacular and successful event ever.
In addition, this past Shabbos the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Rebbe was in Beit Shemesh for a simcha. He held his prayers and tishim in the Vizhnitz-Monsey Beit Midrash, and this is his first visit in Ramat Beit Shemesh A in the city. The Rebbe was unable to hand out fruit as is customary on Shabbos Shira, due to weakness and the gabbaim did it for him.
