Hareidi avrech seriously injured in motorcycle accident

Motorcycle rider, 40 year old avrech, father of three, resident of Kiryat Herzog Bnei Brak, was severely injured after flying into a ditch on Route 4, near the Messubim intersection.

At 9:29 am the Yarkon MDA was informed of the motorcycle rider who slid on the Route 4 from the Aluf Sadeh interchange towards Messubim. Medics and MDA staff gave him medical treatment and he was taken to Tel Hashomer hospital, when his condition is severe with multi-system damage.

Shem Tov Marciano, medic of Hatzala Gush Dan, said: "When I got to the scene I saw the bike on the road, without the victim. After a scan I found that he flew off the motorcycle into a ditch at the side of the road at a depth of 3 meters. We treated the rider was unconscious with severe multi-system damage, and he was taken by a Mobile Intensive Care Unit to Tel Hashomer."

The Ichud Hatzalah paramedic said: "The motorcyclist was badly injured all over his body, when he collided with the safety rail and flew into the ditch. Following a prolonged rescue, he was evacuated to the hospital"
