Suspected attack: in the afternoon at 17:45 the police received a report about civilians, shooting at an Egged bus line 172 traveling between the Hizma village and the Anatot settlement.

A police car who arrived at the scene reported that there are shooting signs on the bus, but miraculously there were no casualties. Police began searching for the perpetrators of the shooting.

Forensic forces of Judea and Samaria are at the scene while IDF forces scanned the area near the village of Hizma where the shooting was apparently carried out from. The background is still unclear.

After forensic examination, it was suggested that stones were thrown at the bus on both sides.

At the same time, three Palestinian residents of the Balta village stood at the checkpoint of Tapuach and aroused the suspicion of Border Policemen who began suspect arrest procedure on them.

Eight improvised pipe bombs and improvised weapons were found in the Palestinians possessions. Border Police and the police sappers of the West Bank are currently treating at the scene; the suspects were arrested and are currently taken for questioning and follow-up.

Following the incident traffic was blocked at the junction until the treatment is over.

Initial investigation revealed that their plan was to perform an attack at the checkpoint.
