Life saving in light of the election: two young activists of the campaign headquarters of Yahadut Hatorah from the south saved the life of an elderly woman.

A week before the elections, a phone call was received at the headquarters of Yahadut Hatorah in the south. On the line was an elderly woman who asked the activists to take her to the polls on Election Day, since it is difficult to go by on her own.

They set up to come and take her on Tuesday morning.

As intended, the two activists arrived at the old woman's house to take her to the polls. When she opened the door she suddenly collapsed.

They called the rescue forces that gave her initial treatment and evacuated her to the hospital.

It turned out that the elderly woman suffered a stroke. The doctors said that had they not arrived at the right moment, otherwise there was nothing they could do.

"We lost her vote," said one activist, "but we saved her life."
