Satmar journey: 50 thousand dollars for the right to drive the minibus

The Satmar Rebbe who arrived yesterday (Sunday) for his first visit since he became Rebbe, went straight from the airport to the home of Av Beit Din, Eideh Charedi Hgri"t Weiss - on Givat Moshe Street in Jerusalem.


According to the plan, after the reception the Rebbe was supposed to leave - along with the Badatz – towards Kikar Shabbat to attend the rally and attend the reception.


Due to the load, it was decided to rent a minibus in which the Rebbe, the Gab"d, the Ra'avad and the Badatz will travel together so that the masses of accompanists will see them through the windows of the minibus.

The one driving the minibus is Rabbi Yom Tov Hoffman, owner of Hoffman & Sons, who wanted to win and drive the Rebbe and the Badatz, and donated 50 thousand dollars for the Kollel 'Yitav Lev' Satmar in Jerusalem.


Today (Monday) the Rebbe came to pray in front of the mikdash, and later visited the Ra'avad and the home of Hgri"m Schechter of Breslev, and the Talmud Torah of the chassidus in Ezrat Torah. Later today the Rebbe is expected to attend the obituary for Hgr"y Blau zt"l at the Dushinsky Beit Midrash in Jerusalem.
