What motivates a lawyer from Kfar Chabad to contribute to seven parties?

Attorney Mordechai Tzivin decided to contribute towards the elections for the Kneseet to seven different parties – from Shas and Yahadut Hatorah to Avodah and Yisrael Beitenu and even an Arab party.


Why is he doing this?


"I have good friends from all over the political spectrum, from Agudath Yisrael to the Arab party."


Zivin, a Chabad chassid who lives in Kfar Chabad, donated 1000 dollars to Shas and Yahadut Hatorah. In addition, he donated the same amount to Habayit Hayehudi. As someone who has done much in the former Soviet Union, Zivin contributed a handsome amount of NIS 1,800 towards Yisrael Beiteinu.

But Zivin is not satisfied with just donations to the right and ultra-Orthodox parties. He and his wife Attorney Nechama Zivin donated one thousand shekels towards the Avodah party.

There is also a surprising explanation: Nechama votes Yahadut Hatorah by the order of the late Lubavitcher Rebbe zt"l, but she is social - democratic.
