A frontal accident occurred near Moshav Tirosh, road 383, MDA and rescue forces were summoned.


Seven people were treated for injuries at the scene - four of them in moderate condition, and others mild, some of them children.


Teams of MDA Lachish region, rescued the victims from the vehicles and gave them first aid, and later they were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem and Kaplan' in Rechovot.


The wounded are haredi residents of Beit Shemesh.

Shimon Lieberman, a Hatzalah driver, who arrived at the scene, said: "This is a frontal accident involving a car and commercial vehicle traveling with children. Inexplicably one of the vehicles veered from its course and hit a car that came before him.


"Together with other medics and MDA teams we gave initial medical assistance to the victims, and transfered the wounded to the ambulances who evacuated them to hospitals. A helicopter transported one of the victims, a boy of about seven with head injury in moderate condition.
