On Winograd Street in the neighborhood of Neve Yaakov in Jerusalem a 60 year old man fell from a ladder and injured his head, Hatzalah medics who arrived, identified the rabbi of the nearby synagogue, gave him primary health care, and he was evacuated by intensive care unit to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem where his condition is severe.
Daniel Katzenstein, a Hatzalah medic who arrived at the scene, told B'Chadrei Charedim: "When I arrived I saw that the rabbi of the synagogue is lying near the ladder at a construction site next to the synagogue, the rabbi was severely injured in the head and lost consciousness, I and other medics gave him primary health care until the arrival of the mobile intensive care unit which evacuated him to hospital in serious but stable condition."
Another medic said that the victim was lying on the floor near a one-story structure, and a ladder was thrown on the side. He was evacuated with severe head trauma and other injuries, and semi conscious to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
