Huge fire broke out in an apartment building in the center of Boro Park • One person was killed and two other fire firefighters were injured due to smoke inhalation • Only after a long time they managed to overcome the fire

A huge fire broke out today (Sunday) in central Boro Park on 52nd Street corner Newtrick.
The fire started on the third floor of an apartment building which was four stories high.
The fire moved quickly killing a non-Jew about fifty years old. He was taken to the Lutheran Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Firefighters struggled to take control over the fire and two required medical treatment. Only after a long while they managed to quell the fire.
