Educator of Yekirei Yerushalayim • Rabbi Yehuda Moshe z"l

Baruch Dayan truth: Rabbi Yehuda Moshe z"l passed away at the Hadassah Har Hazofim Hospital in Jerusalem last night after midnight, at the age of 53, he was an educator at the Talmud Torah Yekirei Yerushalayim.


The deceased was born in Israel in תשי"ט to his father Rabbi Sasson Moshe and his mother Mrs. Leah. During the last four years he suffered a severe and bitter illness.


For 20 years he was an educator at the Talmud Torah Yekirei Yerushalayim in Jerusalem, and devoted himself to his disciples with all his might. He rose generations of children in Torah and pure piety.

His happiness was known to all. His former student's said that his image is still engraved in their memory until this very day. Even as a patient his former students came to visit him in the hospital.


He is survived by his wife and three sons who have not yet married. His eldest son is a student at the Yekirei Yerushalayim yeshiva.

His funeral will leave today (Wednesday) at 13:30 from the Yekirei Yerushalayim yeshiva on Malchei Yisrael Street towards Har Hamenuchos, where he will be laid to rest.
