Severe case of anti-Semitism in the U.S.: A group of yeshiva students from Memphis who vacationed last Shabbos at the Double Tree Hotel in Jackson, Mississippi, were shocked to see on Shabbos morning that an unknown person held a "pogrom" in the small conference hall assigned for keeping their belongings.
Among the items destroyed - was also brought in a Torah scroll, text books, Talmuds, tefillin, siddurim, instruments and electric appliances.
The hotel manager rushed to call the police to the scene, and FBI agents and police officials reached the scene, who took the case very seriously and conducted an immediate investigation amongst the hotel staff.
It soon became clear that the one, who carried out the anti-Semitic pogrom, is none other than the hotel's night security guard - Justin Sean Baker, 24, who held the keys to the convention hall - where the boys put their valuable belongings.
Justin was interrogated and confessed, and was immediately arrested. During the investigation it was also discovered that he is employed by the security company, Max Guard, whose managers have already announced that they will cooperate with the investigators as required.
However, police have not released Justin's motives and whether he admitted he had acted in an anti-Semitic motive, but said that the damage caused is estimated at sixty thousand dollars, and that he will be prosecuted. Yesterday he was brought before a local judge - releasing him on bail of 100 thousand dollars.
