Mid-day drama in Bnei Brak: suspected as a terrorist, stripped - and arrested

Drama at noon today in Bnei Brak: an Arab looking man was arrested in Gan Warsaw in the city center, and was stripped by police while the police pointed a firearm at him.


The incident occurred shortly before 12:00, when a suspicious Arab looking man was detained by the police, who ordered him to lie on the floor and strip.


The area is a central axis in the city of Torah and Chassidus, and police closed the road to traffic until the end of testing the suspect.

Fifteen minutes later, the suspect was taken by a police car, and the road was reopened to traffic.

Yisrael from Hatzalah Gush Dan was a witness to what happened: "It was a drama that is not seen every day in Bnei Brak. Officers and sappers ran with drawn weapons at the Arab, while stopping the traffic on the road. Initially there was fear, even among citizens, that it is a terrorist, but after a few minutes the fear was removed and all were relieved."


Tel Aviv police reported to B'Chadrei Charedim: At first it was suspected that there is a bomb in the suspect's case. That is why the event took place with drawn weapons, but later suspicion was removed, and he was arrested after he did not carry legal work permits in his possession.
