Shock: swastikas and graffiti in Flatbush

Swastikas and graffiti were painted today (Monday), in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

A resident of the neighborhood was shocked this morning to find two swastikas on his car door.

A Jew who lives nearby, parked his car as usual near his house at the corner of Beverly and Nostrand streets.

In the car - on the passenger seat – lay his Tallis and Tefillin bag, and on the front mirror hung Tefillas Haderech, so that the car was identified as a car of a Jew.

The police were called to the scene and collected the video films from cameras of nearby houses.

Meanwhile, not far from that place, anti-Semitic graffiti carved on a street pole on East 24, were found.

It should be noted that the area is populated by many Orthodox families.

Recently there has been a surge of anti-Semitic incidents in Flatbush. A few months ago a Jewish store owner was murdered.
