Daniella Tzfat, a former Israeli who lives in Florida, awoke one morning a year and a half ago and found: one side of her body was suddenly paralyzed. Shortly after, her condition worsened and doctors connecter her to a respirator. After a year in this condition – the doctors told her family that they intend to disconnect Daniella from the life support devices.

Daniella's parents, members of the Chabad community, decided to hire two lawyers who will fight for the life of their daughter - and they were quick to issue an injunction against the hospital.

Aviva Tzfat - Daniella's mother - told journalists that according to Judaism everything passes through the heart, and as long as the heart beats - the soul is alive, and "therefore we believe our daughter is alive, we will not agree to disconnect her from the machines. Only when G-d decides to take her to heaven - we will accept it with love. "

Attorney Menachem Meiberg representing the family, said the doctors asked Daniella whether she wants to continue to live with the machines, and Daniella moved her eyes to signify: 'Yes.'

The hospital said in response that the reasons of discretion, they can not specify the medical condition of Daniella, and that the hospital did not intend to hurt the family's religious principles.
