A Beis Din in Beitar Illit summoned a local newspaper owner to a hearing on Sunday, after publishing a picture of a woman.

Avraham Weissfish, one of the owners of the She'arim newspaper, a local news and advertising paper, published in the Haredi city each Friday, was summoned to appear in the Beis Din of Betar Illit, headed by Harav Dovid Tzvi Ordentlich.

The beginning of the saga is in the last issue which was published on Friday. On one of the last pages of the newspaper, pictures of Beitar Illit residents enjoying the snow which covered the streets on Wednesday and Thursday, were published.

One of the photograph shows the Mayor, Meir Rubinstein, along with his family, standing next to a snowman.

Following this, the Secretary of the Beis Din turned to the owners of the paper yesterday and asked them to report tonight at 20:00 at the Beis Din.

The Beis Din referred to the case sternly and ordered the newspaper owner to tighten controls to prevent a similar incident from happening again.

A Beitar Illit resident explained: "All the noise around the picture is just because it is the mayor's wife."

Avraham Weissfish, a newspaper owner, refused to comment. The response of Mayor Meir Rubinstein, could not be received.
