Hungarian Justice Ministry rejected the claim filed this week by Chabad rabbis against a right-wing movement person Merton Gongiosi who requested the Budapest government to create a list of Jews who posed a "national security risk to the country."
The suit was filed by the Rabbis Shlomo Kawas and Daniel Bodner who claimed that the words of a representative of the movement are inciting hatred.
Hungarian government rushed to publish a condemnation and renunciation of things: "The government firmly rejects extremism, racism and the anti-Semitic voice and will do everything to stop it", said a government spokesman.
Gongiosi claimed that his words are not racist, but pointing to Hungarians who hold dual citizenship: "I apologize to my friends the Hungarian Jews on the statements that were misunderstood," he wrote on the party website.
Party members often argued in the past that Jews used Christian blood to perform religious ceremonies.
The office, as stated, looked into things and investigators determined that there is no hate of any kind in his words.
