The streets of Borough Park neighborhood in New York this week turned into a film series for a huge series on American television.

On Monday morning in 13th Avenue, a long list of production personnel, photographers, actors and dozens of stand-bys lined up to film an episode of Blue Bloods on CBS television network broadcasted every Friday.

The series is a police drama series depicting an Irish family from the United States in which all family members are New York policemen.

The episode filmed this week in the haredi neighborhood deals with the murder of a Rav from a Jewish family. The storyline braches and researchers – the family members, enter the interior of the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood to investigate the case.

The players, all dressed as Haredim joined the local landscape during the hours they were filming.

A warning sign was hung in the neighborhood with a public statement that the series is filmed and whoever doesn't want to be caught by the camera lens, should not get close to the filming area. However, residents of the neighborhood stood for a long time with great curiosity and studied the film set.

In the near future, more shooting days are expected in the Haredi neighborhood.
