An 11-year-old boy fell from a sun shield and was injured in a local park on Nafcha corner of Hachida Street in Bnei Brak. Hatzalah medics gave the child health care, he was conscious and in mild condition.

A similar incident occurred on Shabbos at the same place. Last week, a similar incident occurred, when an 11-year-old fell from a sun shield at the local park on Chazon Ish Street, and was also injured mildly.

Effy Feldman, chairman of Hatzalah Union in Bnei Brak, who treated the child said: Unfortunately for the second time in a week we encounter a similar case, again an event of children climbing on the playground gardens on dangerous places, and it caused them serious injuries, we urge parents to warn and look after their children, who during a game must be careful and guard, in hope that other events such as these do not reoccur.

Bnei Brak municipality spokesman, Avraham Tannenbaum, told B'Chadrei Charedim that that sun shields installed in the local parks are designed to protect from the sun, and not to climb on them.

"In cases where the emergency center receives complaints about children climbing on overhangs, the municipal police cars are called to pull them off, but this situation is unacceptable, parents trust that municipal policing will babysit their children instead of them."

This is not the first case. Some time ago a child fell of a sun shield at a local park, 93 Park, and was wounded. "If this situation continues, there remains no choice, and the sun shields over local parks will be removed."

Eliasaf Sagiv a medic at Hatzahah Gush Dan, who treated the child said: An 11 year old boy fell from a height of about 3 meters and was lightly wounded. After we treated him at the scene he was taken by MDA ambulance to the hospital.

Hatzalah Gush Dan remind and ask the parents and educators to focus their attention to the matter, and warn the children about climbing on high and dangerous places that can cause disaster G-d forbid.

A further incident occurred on Shabbos afternoon, a boy of about 12 who had climbed a shield in a playground at the Hachida Park tripped and fell, and following treatment from Hatzalah Gush Dan was taken to the hospital suffering bruising to his back.

Srulik Hershtik, Shabbos duty at Hatzalah Gush Dan, said: When I arrived I found out that the child has been lying for a few minutes in the rain all wet without the ability to move, after treatment and fixation he was taken to the hospital for further treatment and tests.
