On Tuesday this week, the Japan prisoner, Yaakov Yosef Greenwald was released to his home, from the Nitzan prison in Ramle after parole from prison.

The Japanese affair encompassed all levels of the Haredi community in Israel and abroad, activists flooded with great and laborious work. But now, after four full years of activity, the painful affair came to an end.

Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman of Migdal Haemek, who did not sit still for four years, until the boys came home, could not contain his excitement this week, and during the first conversation with the boy - immediately upon leaving prison – he blessed shehechayanu with Hashem's name.

"This is a great day, it is a merit to help the release of prisoners," says Rav Grossman, "and I'm glad I had a part in it, and I thank all those who had a part in it who invested their forces to end this global affair. I hope the boy finds his shidduch soon and will build bayis neeman and start a new life.
