When the Shefa Chaim visited the Imrei Chaim • Dialogue between Rebbes

The Vizhnitz Rebbe, who is in New York, came to visit the home of the Klausenberg Rebbe - USA. A fascinating conversation developed between the two Rebbes on many issues. Among other things, the conversation centered on devotion for reciting the Shema and the greatness of the teachings of the Rebbe the Duvrei Chaim of Sanz zy"a.


The Rebbes also extensively discussed the friendship developed between the Shefa Chaim of Sanz zt'l, the father of the hosting Rebbe, with the grandfather and father of the Rebbe the guest the Imrei Chaim and his son the Yeshuot Moshe of Vizhnitz zt"l.

The Klausenberg Rebbe told that in תשל"א the Shefa Chaim visited the Imrei Chaim on Mount Canaan in Safed. At the same time, the Imrei Chaim did not feel so good. When he left the visit, the Shefa Chaim asked, "Why do we not make noise in the world, arouse the public to prayer, for the recovery of the Vizhnitz Rebbe?"

The Rebbes drank lechaim and said goodbye, and the Klausenberg Rebbe accompanied the visitor to his car.
