Bnei Brak: Child burned from a hotwater kettle on Shabbos
A boy of about 11 tried to pour himself hot water hot from a boiling water kettle • the kettle overturned and spilled boiling water on him • He was taken to Schneider Hospital in Petach Tikva in fair condition

Shortly after Shabbos began, an 11-year-old was burned from a kettle of boiling water which spilled over his body.
The incident occurred at his home on Even Gvirol in Bnei Brak.
Hatzalah medics were called to the scene, took care of the child, and he was evacuated by Intensive Care Unit to Schneider Hospital in Petach Tikva.
Zeevi Tepper a Hatzalah medic, said: "The boy poured boiling water from a kettle to make a cup of tea. For some reason the kettle overturned and spilled on him and caused severe burns, we gave him primary health care using the Brandshield aid bandages, and then he was taken to Schneider Hospital in moderate condition and fully conscious. "
Chaim Krieger from Hatzalah Gush Dan, who treated the child said: "The boy suffered burns to the abdomen and lower limbs, we treated him and he was taken to hospital with burns Class B in moderate condition."
