The body of lonely Orthodox from Emmanuel was analyzed • and where will he be buried?

On Sunday, in the late evening, Lev Yitzhak an orthodox lonely and forlorn man age 56, was found dead at his home. An attending nurse, who tried to contact him on the phone for a few days, came to his home, and when he didn’t open the door, entered through the window, and found him dead surrounded by a pool of blood.

Due to the pool of blood Shai District Police required to analyze the body of the deceased, to ascertain the cause of death. The police filed a request for autopsy at the court without the presence of a representative of ZAKA. The court approved.

When ZAKA heard about it, an order for delay was applied until the discussion of the Supreme Court. The discussion was held yesterday at the Supreme Court, when Mr. Dror Sosheim Zaka's legal department, represented the deceased.

At the hearing, the court determined that the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir will perform a CT on the deceased, and if that does not find out the cause of death – it is permitted to perform an autopsy.

According to the Chairman of the Institute, Prof. Yehuda Hiss, the CT did not give an indication of the cause of death, and therefore a local autopsy will be performed under the supervision of Rabbi Yaakov Ruza - who insists that he will not operate beyond where there is suspected criminal activity, and thus minimize the damage.

Prof. Hiss will finish the job in May.

Michael Gutwein, coordinator of the Legal Department of ZAKA, told B'Chadrei Charedim that the deceased's body was released for burial, but state funding is burial in the wall. Emmanuel community activists are working to achieve a respectable 17,000 NIS for a respectable grave in the ground, and they are knocking on the doors of the community for donations.
