On Netivot Shalom Street in Modi'in Illit an 8-year-old was hit by a bus - and was severely injured.
Hatzalah volunteers from the Modiin Illit branch gave him primary health care and an intensive care ambulance evacuated to Tel Hashomer hospital.
Moshe Zeidel, a Hatzalah medic told B'Chadrei Charedim: "The child, an 8 year old boy was hit in the head by a bus. It is a very dangerous road with no sidewalks, although there are several preschools close by. After we gave him primary health care the child was evacuated to the hospital in serious condition.
The public are asked to pray for the recivery of Chaim Yosef David Ben Ayala Naomi.
Police officials said that at about 13:00 two buses stopped to take children from a shul in Modi'in Illit. There buses were parked, a vehicle surpassing them - hit the 8.5-year-old pedestrian, who was hidden by the buses. The pedestrian was seriously injured. The circumstances are being investigated.
In CT examination held at the Tel Hashomer hospital, head injury was not found. But due to the deep cuts in his head, he was sedated and taken for plastic surgery.
