Daniel Makhrupat, 24, was murdered in Isfahan, Iran by the daughter of a Revolutionary Guards man.
Makhrupat, was a member one of the well known and richest Jewish families in Iran, and last week was murdered, probably by one who is a daughter of a Revolutionary Guards man.
The police announced at first that Makhrupat was murdered during a robbery - but no signs of forced entry were found on the scene.
The young woman who is suspect of having murdered Makhrupat was questioned and released without charges filed against her. Jewish community officials said that police told her: "If you were involved in the murder of a Jew - then you've done a mitzvah."
On Tuesday the funeral of Makhrupat was held in the synagogue courtyard in Isfahan, where he used to pray.
Less than a month ago, in the same town, a Jewish woman was murdered by her Muslim neighbors.
