Geo-cartography Institute poll conducted for the movement of "Tov" reveals worrying data about the difficulties of working Haredim in Israel and the depth of the fracture and separation between them and the existing ultra-Orthodox parties. The survey included a quantitative telephone survey combined with depth surveys with focus groups.

According to the survey, conducted in December, almost a quarter of respondents claimed that in addition to funding and budget issues and other traditional subjects, the religious parties must address the issue of orthodox employment. But here it turns out that 36% percent of the public believes the Haredi ultra-Orthodox parties are not doing enough to integrate the orthodox into the labor market and must do more - compared to 40% who are satisfied with the current situation.

A rate of 43% is not satisfied with the degree of Haredi integration into the labor market, compared to 46% who expressed satisfaction, and 11% had no opinion.

Surprising finding reveals that the vast majority of the Orthodox community is for academic studies, as part of joining the work force. Support: 52%, against 26%, so-so: 13% do not know 9%.

The survey also examined the ultra-Orthodox public opinion in relation to discrimination in the labor market and the proportion who believes that there is discrimination against Orthodox in the private labor market is 51%, compared with 31% who do not believe that there is discrimination, and 18% do not know. An even higher rate of about 65% believe there is Orthodox discrimination in the public sector, no discrimination 21%, 14% deprived of opinion.

According to the survey, according to 41% of ultra-Orthodox school system discrimination against the ultra-Orthodox - employees (existing: 41%, doesn’t exist 43%, do not know: 16%). The majority suggests that the discrimination is not justified.

Chairman of Tov, Chanoch Werdyger, says that the survey shows that a large share of the haredi public does not feel the Haredi parties are doing enough for him and represent him.

"The way to deal with this challenge," says Werdyger, "is through actions which will prove the Haredi - employee community the concern basic needs, rather than by increasing polarization inside, attacks on representatives, removal of its men and disparaging remarks - which culminated in the declaration of a representative of an ultra-Orthodox party about giving up on the votes of the haredi - employees., and if it turns out that the orthodox power weakened during this critical juncture, the ultra-Orthodox parties must think about their denying and patronizing conduct."

Nearly 40% of the haredi public is not satisfied with the orthodox status in the Israeli public, when one in five believes this situation is due to haredi extremists or orthodox politicians.

As a matter of fact on the issue the parties marked as a flag - Torah world and the recruitment crisis, show that 31% of the sector is not satisfied with the treatment of the parties in the crisis and believe it made serious mistakes. These rates are not satisfied with the treatment of Haredi politicians in the Yeshiva recruitment crisis - relatively high among men and among those with lower income.

Summary: The survey reveals that 38% of the public identifies with the Orthodox movement principles "Tov" which promotes employment solutions to Haredim, encouraging academic training, preventing discrimination in the workplace and in educational institutions and the establishment of educational institutions in this spirit. Rate of 31% non-identifying, so-so: 15% do not know: 16%. Higher identification rate among young people and among adults aged 55 +.

The survey was conducted at 16:12:12. Telephone survey among 400 men and women aged 18 and over, who belong to the haredi sector and are a national sample and are representative of the population. 4.4% +, the range of maximum error, statistical significance level of 95%.
