The kingdom • the daily agenda of the Sadigura Rebbe zt"l

The Sadigura Rebbe zt"l used to open his day by davening shacharis at the Beis Medrash of the chassidus on Guttmacher Street in Bnei Brak. In Ruzhin the Rebbes used to pray in a separate room, and so did the Rebbe.


After davening, the Rebbe would return to his home - to continue his agenda and order of studies.


In the morning there was no public reception, and reception hours would start from 16:00 pm to 21:00.


The Rebbe would daven Mincha and Ma'ariv in intervals which would take place during the public reception.

During Kabbalas Shabbos his door would be opened during 'בואי בשלום', and the Rebbe would join the singing of the chassidim.


The Rebbe would get the aliyah of shlishi, which is an important aliyah, according to the custom in Beit Ruzhin. He would hold the tisch on Friday night, only on Shabbos Mevarchim during the winter. During Seuda Shlishit the Rebbe would hold a tisch for all the chassidim - throughout the year.


During the year, the Rebbe would go to visit his followers in Jerusalem, Brachfeld, Beitar, and Ashdod.


During the hakafos of Hoshanot on Sukkot, a melody from the grandfather Rabbi Yisrael M'Ruzhin zy"a, was sung for a full hour.

On Simchat Torah: during third and seventh hakafos, the Rebbe danced alone with the Sefer Torah of one of the Rebbe's of Ruzhin. The event was considered to be one of the most emotional amongst the chassidim.


Gabbaim of the Rebbe: Rabbi Moshe Segal, who was gabbai for over half a century, dating back to the previous Rebbe, the Knesset Mordechei of Sadigura zt"l.


Another gabbai was Rabbi Nachman Friedman who was also his driver. Rabbi Avraham Cohen was the gabbai who spent the morning at the Rebbe's home.
